Administration, Social Welfare, Recreation, Socioeconomic Development, City Beautification, Manpower Utilization and Revenue Collection. The Housing and Community services department provides housing and residential stands on which people can build their own houses. The social services it provides include counseling and welfare services, early childhood education services, youth development programmes, library services, recreational and sport facilities, including parks, soccer stadiums, swimming baths and community halls. The department has provided nearly 80 People's Market structures. Mbare Musika is the largest and best known market.The department has also built and administers a number of primary schools.     |
