The Corporate services is responsible for providing secretarial and advisory services to the Council's committees, legal matters.The department is established in terms of Section 133 of the Urban Councils Act and its functions is to provide Secretarial and Administrative services to Council and its committees.The ICTÂ division also falls under this department. The head of Department is the Chamber Secretary, Â Mrs Josephine Ncube.

Mission Statement

To provide an effective communication link between the Council , its Committes and Departments , the State , the public and to ensure that prompt and appropiate action is taken to give effect to all resolutions of the Council and its Committees. To this end we provide high quality management of meetings , corporate Secretariat and advisory services. We guarantee the above by maintaining excellence in organisation of meetings and accurate recording of meeting proceedings.
