The Department comprises six (6) Divisions namely: Finance and administration, Roads and Public lighting Agency, Quarry Corporatised Entity, Harare Workshops Agency, Harare Farms Corporatised Entity, and Property Development corproratised Entity

The Department has been mandated with the transformation of the above concerns with the objective of establishing viable business entities on a sustainable basis and creation of a Roads Authority . It is the Department’s desire that the entities in the final transformation process will be able to contribute to the City’s revenue base thereby reducing burden on ratepayers.
