The City of Harare, in partnership with Geopomona Waste Management and the Environmental Management Agency (EMA), today hosted a Catch Them Young programme at Tafara 5 Council Primary School to promote environmental awareness and responsible waste management among learners. Officials educated pupils on the importance of proper waste disposal by placing litter in bins and keeping their surroundings clean. The programme also emphasized the 3Rs of waste management- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle - encouraging learners to adopt sustainable habits that help protect the environment. Through such initiatives, the City of Harare continues to invest in environmental education, empowering the younger generation to become champions of cleanliness and responsible waste management in their communities.
