Harare Women Leaders Gather for Leadership, Wellness Forum
The City of Harare today hosted the Executive Women’s Leadership, Wellness and High Tea Forum at Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre, bringing together the Deputy Mayor Cllr Rosemary Muronda , female councillors, executive female mentors and invited facilitators to discuss leadership, wellbeing and professional development.

The City of Harare today hosted the Executive Women’s Leadership, Wellness and High Tea Forum at Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre, bringing together the Deputy Mayor Cllr Rosemary Muronda , female councillors, executive female mentors and invited facilitators to discuss leadership, wellbeing and professional development. The forum is aimed at strengthening women’s leadership capacity, promote mental and emotional wellbeing, and create stronger connections between female leaders and mentors. The programme focused on leadership, wellness and collective advancement, with discussions on the challenges women face in leadership and ways of improving confidence, professional presence and effective leadership. A specialist session on mental wellness, support and menopause addressed the pressures women carry, recognising when support is needed and navigating physical, emotional and psychological changes. Another session, “Dressing the Woman, Honouring the Office,” focused on personal style, grooming and presentation, highlighting how these can contribute to confidence, credibility and executive presence. Deputy Mayor Muronda urged women to embrace leadership opportunities,support one another through mentorship and continue striving for excellence. Facilitating the programme is Rumbidzai Pamela Fate. Head School of Excellence Mr Stewart Mungofa is coordinating the programme which has nurtured women leaders in council.
