Highlands community came together today for a vibrant Community Wellness Run aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles, community unity and wellbeing. The event was organised by the City of Harare through the Housing and Community Services Department in partnership with key stakeholders. Ward 7 Councillor and Deputy Mayor Cllr Rosemary Muronda led the run which attracted residents of all ages who walked, jogged and ran through the suburb. Various organisations supported the initiative by providing water, refreshments and health awareness services. The event highlighted the importance of physical activity while strengthening community bonds, with organisers expressing hope that the wellness run will become a regular fixture on Harare's calendar.
